We were asked to design a full book jacket cover to promote and highlight up and coming/debut children’s book authors from the prestigious MA course in Writing for Young People. The target audiences are agents and publishers within the field. What it is about: Anthology of 22 children’s book writers, whose imaginative work spans from middle grade through young adult novels. Throughout this project, I read extracts of the books and illustrated elements from each book. I wanted to make the book come to life and create a cover which looks like you are falling into the world of children books. Although this wasn’t chosen it had good feedback, although I illustrated all of the books it felt too crowded and this was one of the negatives.
